Forsyth County voters wishing to cast their ballot early for the December 2 General Election Runoff can do so beginning November 17. Early Voting will be available for registered voters from Monday, November 17 through Wednesday, November 26. Early Voting is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Forsyth County Administration Building located at 110 E. Main Street in Cumming. Any registered Forsyth County voter can vote early at the Administration Building during this time, regardless of their designated voting precinct.

On November 24, four additional voting sites will be available for voters to take part in Advance Voting. These four additional sites are the Forsyth County Public Safety Complex, Midway Park, Cumming Public Library and Sharon Forks Public Library. All four of these Advance Voting sites will be open Monday, November 24 through Wednesday, November 26 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Any registered Forsyth County voter can vote at any of the Advance Voting locations during this time, regardless of their designated voting precinct.

On Tuesday, December 2, all Forsyth County precincts will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. All registered voters are eligible to vote in the December 2 Runoff even if they did not vote in the November General Election. Even if you can not make it to your polling location on Election Day, you can still vote in person thanks to Advance Voting. Advance Voting is available at five convenient locations throughout Forsyth County from Monday, October 27 through Friday, October 31. The hours of Advance Voting have been extended at four of these locations, for added convenience for voters.

The Forsyth County Voter Registration and Elections Department is seeking residents who are interested in being poll workers for the November 4 General Election. Those interested can attend one of several upcoming informational Meet and Greet sessions. The Meet and Greet sessions are scheduled as follows:

Tuesday, August 26 at 10 a.m.
Wednesday, August 27 at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Thursday, August 28 at 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, September 3 at 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Eligibility requirements to be a poll worker include being at least 16 years of age, a citizen of the United States and a resident of Forsyth County. The Forsyth County Primary Runoff is set for August 5th. But, if you can not make it to your polling place on Election Day, you can still vote in person thanks to Advance Voting. Advance Voting for the August 5 General Primary Runoff is available July 28 to August 1 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily at five locations throughout Forsyth County. Any Forsyth County registered voter may take advantage of Advance Voting at any of these locations:

If you voted Republican in the Primary you must vote Republican in the Runoff and if you voted Democratic in the Primary you must vote Democratic in the Runoff. If you did not vote in the Primary, you may vote either Republican or Democratic in the Runoff.
