
Christmas is an exciting time in the City of Cumming. Each year the City of Cumming lines the streets with beautiful Christmas lights. They also offer photos with Santa and an Arts and Crafts Show.

The Cumming Country Fair & Festival kicked off on Thursday with Free Admission sponsored by Northside Forsyth. Great weather & great concerts continued through the weekend with performances by Aaron Tippin, Matt Daryl & Chase Mitchell. The week ahead is also set for such great acts as Need To Breathe on Wednesday which is also Fish Family Fun Day. The Rivers Alive Annual Stream Clean Up Event will take place this Saturday, September 20th from 9:00am till 12:00 noon. It will take place at Orr Creek at the Cumming Fairgrounds.
A Light lunch will be provided, and everyone that participates will receive a “Rivers Alive” t-shirt as well as a ticket to the Cumming Country Fair & Festival. The City of Cumming Independence Day Celebration starts on July 3rd and includes a fireworks display at 9:30 p.m. at the Cumming Fairgrounds, along with an "all age" dance contest following the fireworks. A live band, refreshments and inflatables for the kids will conclude the evening, so bring your blanket, sit out on the lawn and enjoy all the festivities.
On July 4th at 10:00 a.m. come out and see a Cumming tradition: The Steam Engine Parade. The Parade will include antique tractors, steam engines, antique cars and many other floats decorated in the spirit of the holiday. Following the Steam Engine Parade, anyone can take a closer look at the steam engines, tractors and cars that will be on display at the Cumming Fairgrounds.
