Holtzclaw Road in Forsyth County will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, July 13. The road is expected to re-open Monday, July 20. Residents can use Chattahoochee Road or SR 306 as an alternate route during the closure.

Holtzclaw Road is being reconstructed to improve the road's alignment. The travel lanes and shoulders also will be widened to improve safety. The road widening and paving will be complete before school opens in August. Chattahoochee Elementary is located along Holtzclaw Rd. Funding for the improvements to Holtzclaw Road comes from SPLOST VI.
