
Keep Forsyth County Beautiful (KFCB) encourages Forsyth County residents to bring old Christmas trees to designated drop-off locations for recycling during the annual “Bring One for the Chipper” event to be held Saturday, January 5.
In 2007, Forsyth County residents recycled 6,745 Christmas trees at designated drop-off locations. Trees can be dropped off for recycling this year at the following locations:

A wood chipper processes the dropped-off trees into mulch. Uses for the mulch include nature trails, playgrounds and landscaping projects.
The mulch will be available for delivery by Davey Tree and Lawn Care on a first-come, first-served basis to Forsyth County residents. All deliveries must be coordinated by completing a mulch request form at www.forsythco.com.
