Did you know: Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country. But to many it's merely the last blast of Summer....the last long weekend, for many, until Thanksgiving.
The bottom line: Whatever your plans are today, this is a holiday to celebrate all working Americans, whether you work in a factory, on a farm, or in a corporate office somewhere. Take this day to honor the work you have accomplished, this great nation that you help shape everday. Celebrate it with your loved ones because you deserve it!
Have a Great Labor Day!
